  5. 0.   Why give away the source?  During the early days of creating
  6.      DISKED (and even to this day) I have encountered many instances
  7.      of books, magazines and reference manuals that treated computer
  8.      users as too ingnorant or too un-intelligent to know how things
  9.      really work -- they (mostly the self annointed "power-writers"
  10.      in the slick-mainstream-press) always seemed to leave something
  11.      out or otherwise leave you in the dark, as if we "non-power-users"
  12.      can not handle the knowledge.  (Although it may just be that
  13.      they write in a manner of being "all-knowing" when in actuality
  14.      they are not.)

  16.      Anyway, I hope you find DISKED useful in some way -- that is why
  17.      I am sharing it.

  19. 1.   DISKED is Freeware.  It is a fully functional MS-DOS disk utility
  20.      created by me (see below).  DISKED can do many neat things which
  21.      may be helpful to you which is why I am giving it away.  Although
  22.      I can not supply any gaurantees, I can supply support.
